Filtralite Pure

With its unique porosity, Filtralite® Pure filter media offers optimum conditions for water to flow through the filter bed to retain more contaminants. This feature, the main characteristic of the lightweight expanded clay material, allows for larger volumes of water to be filtered through the same volume as the contact area is increased.

Water Management facilities can boost their output without rebuilding or expanding existing infrastructure by replacing conventional filtering media with Filtralite products.

Filtralite Pure is also highly effective for treating raw water containing ammonia, manganese, iron, and other contaminants in fixed bed water treatment processes. Compared to other media, Filtralite offers significantly higher porosity, providing an excellent specific area for biofilm growth, numerous macropores, lighter density, and high abrasion resistance.
